Seci issues 1000 MW Tender for Solar Rooftop

SECI issued a tender for Implementation of 1000 MW Grid Connected Roof Top Solar PV System Scheme for Government Buildings in different States and Union Territory of India under CAPEX and RESCO Model.

After the announcement of 500 MW solar rooftop tender result now the declaration of a 1 GW tender of solar rooftop giving a long-awaited rooftop solar PV boom in India.

SECI Last month announced the results of 500 MW rooftop tender which was to implement rooftop solar power plant at the residential sector as well as various schools, colleges and universities. A total of 122 developers were awarded 432.7 MW of capacity. The bid also received the tariff of Just INR 3/kWh that gave a hit on coal.

The 1000 MW solar rooftop tender has INR 20,000/- processing fee. The Bidder should have designed, supplied, installed & commissioned at least one Grid connected Solar PV Power Project having a capacity of not less than 50 kW which should have been commissioned at least six months prior to Techno-Commercial Bid Opening date.

The Minimum Average Annual Turnover (MAAT) of the bidder in the last three financial years (i.e. FY 2013-2014, 2014-2015 and 2015-2016) should be INR 2 Crores per MW (Indian Rupees Two Crores per MW) on the standalone basis.
